This website is operated by The Wellness Clinic Private GP Wokingham("we", "us", or "our"). Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using our website or services.
By accessing our website or using our services, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them.
Important Notice – Not an Emergency Service
The Wellness Clinic Private GP Wokingham is not an emergency service. For any medical emergency, you must call 999 immediately.
Medical emergencies may include (non‑exhaustive list):
- Loss of consciousness
- Acute confusion
- Continuous seizures
- Persistent severe chest pain
- Breathing difficulties
- Severe bleeding
- Severe allergic reactions
- Severe burns or scalds
Appointments
Appointments may be booked online, in person, by telephone or email. Appointment confirmation will be sent by email, and a contract is formed once confirmation is issued.
You must be at least 18 years old or be a parent/legal guardian booking for a minor.
Children
Patients under 18 may be required to attend with a parent or guardian.
Fees and Payment
- Fees are payable by card and are taken in advance of the consultation.
Cancellation and Non‑Attendance Policy
Standard Appointments
- Appointments cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time will incur a £25 administration fee.
- Appointments cancelled within 24 hours, or missed appointments, will be charged in full.
Late Arrival
- Arriving more than 10 minutes late may result in cancellation and full charge.
- Arriving less than 10 minutes late may result in a shortened consultation at the doctor’s discretion, with no fee reduction.
Clinic Delays
Appointment times cannot always be guaranteed. If waiting time exceeds 30 minutes, you may choose to wait, re-book, or (where applicable) receive a full refund if you decline the consultation.
Patient Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete medical information
- Follow medical advice and prescribed treatments
- Inform us of any adverse reactions
- Notify us of any changes to your personal or medical details
Privacy and Data Protection
We comply with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. Clinical records are securely stored and encrypted. Personal data is processed only as necessary to provide medical services.

Prescriptions and Medications
- Prescriptions are private and dispensed independently by pharmacies.
- Medication costs are determined by the dispensing pharmacy.
- Prescriptions are issued at the sole discretion of the doctor following consultation.
Investigations and Referrals
- Further investigations may be recommended and are chargeable privately.
- You are responsible for arranging and following up investigation results.
- Referrals to specialists may be private and self‑funded or covered by insurance.
Conduct
We do not tolerate abusive, aggressive or offensive behaviour towards staff. We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate access where behaviour is inappropriate.
Events Outside Our Control
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including pandemics, strikes, system failures or natural disasters.
