Counselling provides a safe and confidential space to talk to a trained professional about your issues and concerns. It offers a dedicated time each week to focus on yourself. Your therapist will help you explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, enabling you to develop a better understanding of yourself and your relationships.
A counsellor will not give you their opinions or advice but will assist you in working through your issues. Sharing parts of your story can help you gain insight into your challenges and make better sense of your experiences.
What happens in counselling:
Your counselling sessions will occur weekly with the same counsellor and last for 50 minutes. The number of sessions you will have depends on your individual circumstances and will be agreed upon between you and your counsellor.
Life can be busy, and counselling offers a dedicated time for you to be present and share whatever you wish to bring. You will control the pace of the sessions and decide what to share with your counsellor. Your counsellor will be impartial and empathetic, listening to you without judgment and helping you explore your thoughts and emotions.
Services:
Initial consultation (£70):
50-minute session that will cover: An introduction to your counsellor and an opportunity to ask any questions. Allow you time to give a brief overview as to what you are looking for from counselling and what has prompted you to book the appointment. Should you choose to continue with regular counselling, your counsellor will go through the counselling contract with you and you will agree when and how you will work together.
On going counselling: £70 per 50-minute session.

I aim to offer a safe and empathic environment where you can explore your present or past (or often both) without fear of judgement. I have witnessed the loneliness that anxiety, shame, and addictions, amongst other painful emotions, can bring, and I aim to create a therapeutic relationship of trust, empathy and compassion for you to explore your experiences and behaviours.
Who I work with: Individuals, aged 18 and over.
